Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer required to join a close team of multi-disciplined engineers.
Salary: £40,200
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days / nights
Machinery: conveyors, multi head weighers, metal detectors / packing equipment / mechanical weighing machines / shrink wrappers / flow wrappers / sealers / printers /
Required attributes:-
Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
Be part of the team and support your colleagues as required.
Willing to support and coach our operations team.
Have strong fault diagnostic skills.
Proven track record in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment. Food industry preferred.
Be prepared to tackle in a safe manor issues outside of your skill set.
Adhere to the application of safe working practice throughout day-to-day engineering.
Be able to fill in accurate detail within a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Be flexible in working hours to ensure continuity of engineering support.
Responsibilities:-
The repair and servicing of mechanical, pneumatic & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM.
Managing priorities within production constraints
Installation of a wide range of M&E equipment
The repair and maintenance of building fabric and service equipment
Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours
Pricing M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance
HSE management in accordance with our quality and safety management system and all legal and statutory requirements
Qualifications:-
Apprentice trained engineering skill set.
ONC/OND or City & Guild Qualified.
17th Edition Qualified (preferred not essential)
PLC experience. Preferably Allen Bradley.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer will perform breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of automated production/service plant & machinery.
You will also be expected to support the development of production with the installation of new capital equipment and participating in continuous improvement projects.
