Mechanical Engineering Team Leader / Manager

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Mechanical Section Team Leader / Manager to work for an industry recognised Project Management and Engineering specialist based in the West Lancashire area. For the position of Team Leader / Manager the package / salary will be in the region of £42,000 – £45,600 depending on experience, you will be given 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays, the use of company vehicles for any travel as and when required as well as an auto-enrolment Pension, Free Car Parking and Cycle Scheme

The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship and a HNC/HND or NVQ at Level 5 or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering. You will have a strong background in providing leadership and direction to a team of Mechanical Engineers and will be responsible for all engineering functions on a daily basis. You will have experience with management of Mechanical PPM schedules, KPI targets, working closely with the production team, coaching and training and actively encouraging a successful and engaging culture through continuous improvement. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
