Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year
Our client, an established Business Intelligence and Analytics Bureau with an impressive client portfolio and a network of international partners, are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to work from their Birmingham office.
In order to secure the sale of products and solutions, the BDM will ensure the development of relationships with senior decision makers in a variety of industries including; Public Sector, Telco, Utilities and Financial Services.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities via self-generated leads and working to consistently exceed sales targets. Additional responsibilities include:
• Facilitating web-based demonstrations of the products
• Identifying potential opportunities for larger consultative projects within the client base.
• Translation of complex requirements into simple solutions
The ideal candidate will have a solid and successful sales track record selling BI products (such as Tableau, Qlickview or SAS). However, you may have previously worked on a software solution sale that incorporated BI products within the software/technology industry and be competent in discussing business challenges with Senior Executives, CEO’s & Heads of Departments. Ability to perform web-based demonstrations of the products and knowledge of BI products are essential.
The Business Development Manager needs to be a driven and motivated individual who is able to work strategically and influence key decision makers.
