Warehouse Operative

Salary: £27,600 per year

Pyramid8 is currently supporting a manufacturing company who are a leading supplier of Structural Steel and Plate Fabrication. The company has been trading for over 20 years and due to growth, they are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team in Normanton.

Your main responsibilities include processing and packing orders ready for shipment, completing stock takes, being responsible for taking in deliveries and processing the items. You will also be responsible for, organising the shipping of site boxes, oil pumps and installation packs to customer sites in preparation for installations and services, ensuring any damaged or missing goods are reported immediately to the relevant individual and you will also be asked to assist at exhibitions and promote products when required.

This opportunity would suit an individual who has varied warehouse experience and is happy getting stuck in with a mixture of tasks as there would only be you in the warehouse, so you need to be able to think on your feet. You need to be computer literate and it would be beneficial if you have a valid FLT license, if not you will be put through it.

In return you will receive a basic salary of £27,600. This is a permanent, full time position, working Monday to Friday 08.30am to 17.00pm.
