Warehouse Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

A leading engineering product supplier is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their flourishing business in South Yorkshire. By supplying parts to a wide range of industries, they are well known and respected for their quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking in received parts and locate/relocating using the business system
• Accurately move stock to and from storage locations
• Picking, packing, and despatching goods
• Undertake general warehouse duties as required whilst ensuring that quality standards are adhered to
• Locate raw materials and prepare for production
• Using production machinery and press cutting equipment to manufacture high-quality gasket components
• Where necessary, have communication with the sales team to ensure product specifications are understood
• Support quality, sales and manufacturing as needed
• Generate appropriate documentation, records, and reports
• Delivering goods to our customers
• Provide occasional repair/maintenance duties around the building to support the day-to-day business operations
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possessing the ability to work within a busy team environment under minimum supervision

Applicants are required to have the UK driving licence for this position and a Forklift Licence though not essential would be advantageous.

Hours of business: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday
