Business Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, this position is responsible for the end to end business process from requirement gathering through to documentation and user training. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who will mainly be responsible for:

• Eliciting business requirements using a variety of methods
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs, functional requirements and business processes
• Communicating deliverable solutions to end users through documentation and training
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Driving and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Serving as the intermediary between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team
• Collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to establish a technical vision for products
• Demonstrate attention to detail through accurate status report in a succinct and timely manner

For this position we are seeking a self-starter with a proven work ethic and the following:

• Excellent exposure in a comparable role.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office products, exposure to MS SharePoint)
• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems or Process /Business Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• A real interest in developing and moving forward documentation standards, templates, processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Thorough knowledge of documentation methods, processes and best practices
• Ability to familiarise yourself quickly with technical concepts of project
• Ability to interpret high level specification into detailed requirement
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
