Data Architect

Salary: Circa. £90,000k + up to 15% bonus + £3.8k Car allowance + up to 10% pension match

Location: Mainly home based, typically 1 day a week in Bradford office

We are now looking for an experienced Data Architect and you can expect the role to involve:

Defining overarching standards
Defining and implementing enterprise data technology roadmap;
Defining and implementing reference, master and meta data and document practices;
Defining and implementing enterprise data models;
Accountable for proactively developing awareness of the risks and opportunities of how data is/or will be used and its implication on people, processes, and technology.

What skills are we looking for:

Essential:

Proven track record of large scale data driven IT solution delivery, preferably in the utilities sector or asset management sector, undertaking a senior architectural role.
Detailed knowledge of integration architectures and technologies.
Detailed understanding of conceptual and logical data models and their creations and use in a large organisation.
Detailed understanding of enterprise and functional modelling
Understanding of architectural roles, domains, methodologies and design strategies.
Experience of formal structured methodologies for solution design.
Experience of undertaking technical leadership for a team of senior technical roles, providing direction and influence to ensure completion of activities.
Experience of developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships at senior levels within an organisation
Established/proven technical experience gained in a complex and varied environment with some knowledge of: Hardware, Software, and/or Hosted Architectures.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of service continuity planning and IT security.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of the system development lifecycle.
Ability to understand enterprise solutions.

Desirable

BCS, TOGAF or equivalent certification in Enterprise and Solutions Architecture
Knowledge of SAP, SAP HANA, Microsoft Business Intelligence tools
Experience of SaaS, PaaP, IaaS, DaaS
