So, what will I be doing?
To promote and support a continuous improvement basedFood safety and Quality culture across the site in line with Business Technical strategy and policy.To ensure that through effective procedures, monitoring and coaching that all productsproduced on site are safe & comply with agreed specifications/standards& that all systems and procedures conform to internal & external standards & policyYou will head up the Blagdon site QA team, which covers a 24/7 business.
You will have 3 direct reports with a further 9 indirect reports.
The purpose of the role is to promote and support a continuous improvement based Food safety and Quality culture across the site, In line with Business Technical strategy and policy.
You will ensure, through effective procedures, monitoring and coaching that all products produced on site are safe and comply with agreed specifications/ standards and that all systems and procedures confirm to internal and external standards and policy.
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
Demonstrable experience within a relevant technical management role within the food industry
Educated to Degree level Food Science qualification is preferable.
Experience of implementation of HACCP and BRC requirements
Previous customer facing roles is preferable
IT literate with demonstrable Microsoft Office skills
Previous experience of managing a technical team
