Yard Operative in the Commercial Vehicle Industy

YARD OPERATIVE/VALETER

FULL TIME/PERMANENT

GLOUCESTER

£26,000 per year + OVERTIME

My client; a national HGV fleet hire company are currently recruiting for a yard operative on a permanent basis for their Gloucester depot.

The role includes keeping the yard to health and safety standards, helping direct vehicles to correct positions, general maintenance of the yard, the cleaning and preparing of all manor of vehicles. Making sure they are spotless for delivery to clients and also completing the safety checks prior to releasing the vehicle. Vehicle shunting will also be required (you do not need an HGV license)

Pay is set at £26,000 per year with plenty of overtime available at time and a half.
