Wrexham Lac Social Worker

Salary: £45.6 – £50.4 per hour

Children’s social worker- LAC in Wrexham

Here at Eden Brown we are searching for a qualified Social Worker with experience in LAC to join a busy yet supportive team in Wrexham.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £38-42ph

This role will involve the following:

• To managing your own caseload with varying levels of complexity ensuring that children placed in the care of the council have all their emotional, educational, and social needs met.
• To develop, and co-ordinate plans to fully support Adopters/Carers.
• Engage other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies in the delivery of services.
• Manage an allocated workload within a team setting, whilst maintaining accurate and up to date records.
• Comply with the statutory obligations and departmental policing and procedures.
• Prepare and participate in professional supervision sessions and staff meetings. And contribute to the evaluation and development of services.

Essential Requirements:

• Must have a Degree in social work/ qualification equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
• Social Work England Registration
