Works Manager

Salary: £26,000 – £31,200 per year

Currently recruiting a Works Manager with good highways experience.

Duties;

* Compile scheme folders, Liaise with the Asset Management team

* Site visits to aid with the delivery of the schemes

* Communicate with internal departments for technical approvals, identifying any restraints that apply to the schemes.

* Liaise with the Principal Designer to identify any hazards and amend the design/delivery where required.

We are seeking candidates who have:

* Extensive experience of working within the highways industry

* Knowledge of network operations and scheme delivery on roads

* An appreciation of asset management

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to lead a team

* Valid current CSCS (minimum Supervisor level) and SMSTS

Mainly office based and working from home, 45 hours a week
