Wholesale Commercial Manager

Our client, the UK`s largest water and wastewater services provider, is searching for a Wholesale Commercial Manager to join thir Commercial and Finance team in Swindon, Wiltshire.

We are looking for someone to become the owner of the utilities wholesale commercial relationship for Retail and Utilities. Day-to-day this role will involve; setting and agreeing the wholesale agreements between Retail and Wholesale, setting up and providing all required reporting, documentation and reconciliations required under the revenue agreement, and being the commercial point of contract for wholesale, developing the relationship and owning all queries.

In this challenging role you will be expected to;

– Develop, own and manage the revenue agreement with Wholesale
– Develop and provide the relevant documentation and reporting required
– Own and develop the relationship with wholesale being the point of contact for retail and wholesale
– Oversee the commercial relationships with wholesale

If you have over 3 years` experience as a Wholesale Commercial Manager with experience of several of the following, then we would like to hear from you!

Skills required;

– Strong commercial and contractual relationship management skills
– Experience of building new commercial arrangements
– Willingness to challenge and persevere to raise the standard of process within the division
– Judgement over when to support and when to challenge
– Able to operate during periods of change, understanding its impacts on the business area, influencing management and driving process change 
– Utilities, Water or Power industry experience
– Strong organisational, influencing and negotiation skills (stakeholder management)
– Highly competent at using Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
