Account Manager – Fit Out

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our expanding team to generate new business out of existing clients within a product category in the business that is currently in growth.  The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales revenue from our current live accounts and from inbound opportunities, predominantly in the UK construction sector.  This will include building rapport with key contacts, promoting product awareness within existing accounts and identifying new opportunities from existing and new accounts and taking these to orders. opportunities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Meeting or exceeding established sales goals
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities from existing clients.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Managing qualification and opportunity development through to close on inbound opportunities
• Developing and presenting proposals to clients.
• Negotiating agreements with clients.
• Managing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Building and maintaining a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
• Work closely with marketing to share industry and competitor insights, case study material and other content to enable an effective account based marketing strategy

Skills:
• Proven track record of successful sales and account management in a B2B environment
• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational, planning & prioritising skills to ensure that follow-up deadlines are met even in busy periods
