Pay: £100 a day
If you’re fluent in Welsh and hold a bachelor’s degree, you meet the requirements to register with us as a Welsh Medium Cover Supervisor! Academics are currently seeking individuals who are fluent in the Welsh language to work as a Welsh Medium Cover Supervisor across schools in Cardiff.
A Cover Supervisor also refers to a ‘supply’ teacher, who goes into secondary schools to cover lessons in the teacher’s absence due to sickness, maternity, paternity or training.

What would you be expected to do?
- Manage classrooms and deliver pre-prepared lessons
- Uphold a positive learning environment in the absence of the teacher
- Support students in various subjects, fostering engagement and understanding.
- Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures.
- To maintain flexibility in covering lessons in various subjects.
Requirements to register with us as a Welsh Medium Cover Supervisor?
- Fluency in Welsh (both written and spoken).
- A bachelor’s degree
- Flexibility to adapt to different subjects
