Welder Fabricator

Salary: £13.8 – £19.2 per hour

As a welder / fabricator you will be responsible for welding chassis, conveyors, grids, hoppers and various machine components to a high quality standard to meet ongoing customer demands.

Within the role you will be responsible for:

• Mig welding
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Examining welds and ensuring that all welds meet quality standards
• Operation of power tools and equipment
• Meet tight deadlines
• Adhering to all health and safety standards / regulations.
• Mentor apprentice welders
• Think on your feet

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced heavy engineering environment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• High level of attention to detail
• The ability to also work independently and with limited supervision.
• Meet tight deadlines and adapt as required.
