Web Editor – Creative Digital Content

Web Editor required for multi national foodservice brand based out of head office in Slough.

Web Editor MUST have experience with content management systems and already have worked for a multi national or global brand as Web Editor / Copy Writer or Creative Web Content Producer.

The Role:

“We are responsible for the websites and digital marketing – this role is key to the successful implementation of our digital strategy”
You will create, refresh and publish inspiring customer-focused content on our websites.
You will be expected to come up with new editorial and presentational ideas to keep our websites fresh and will need an enquiring mind and a curiosity to get to the bottom of what does and doesn’t engage our customers and drive sales
You will use Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor and measure the effectiveness of digital content and will act on findings to drive quality traffic to our websites and ultimately grow engagement, increase dwell time and encourage repeat business.
You will have outstanding writing skills, including excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling. Attention to detail is essential.
Responsibility for generating stories and writing SEO-compliant copy so that the reach and impact of the content is maximised.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a team. We have to juggle a number of projects at any one time so you will need the ability to multi-task and to be flexible in your approach, along with the confidence to do things differently to fit in with changing circumstances.

Requirements:

Passionate for all things digital
Educated to degree level with a strong background as a
Background as a creative web content producer, Copy writer or editor in a commercial environment.
Content Management systems – Drupal
Adobe Photoshop, HTML coding and Excel skills would all be beneficial for this role and knowledge of the out-of-home food and catering market would be useful.
