Web Developer, Furzton, Milton Keynes, Flexible Hours, £42,000(pro rata) Basic Salary plus benefits. This is a Senior Web Development and Programming role with an established niche software house that offers London salaries without the commute! Situated in offices on Furzton Lake in West Milton Keynes,

Fusemetrix Group, a well-established software house, were established in 2002 and have recently launched their 2nd generation browser based ERP system.

This vacancy is due to expansion and is situated in open-plan offices with great views overlooking Furzton Lake in West Milton Keynes. As a result of significant growth they are looking to add additional Senior PHP Web Developers to their team. As many of their new clients are overseas based some degree of flexibility in working hours is required so that it can fit in with your work-life balance.

You will be working within a small team of web developers and process analysts and will report directly to the technical director. The role will involve developing full cycle web based applications using PHP and MySQL (with related technologies).

Key Requirements:

+ Solid background in PHP programming with additional skills in mySQL (hand coding), AJAX, Javascript and Excellent HTML

+ Good communication skills

+ Strong analytical skills

+ A good team player with positive attitude

+ High degree of enthusiasm

You should be able to produce, modify and maintain web applications and as the role is working closely with non-technical colleagues you must have terrific ‘soft skills’. In addition to the above, which are a must have, any additional programming language skills and experience of system integration will be a significant advantage.
