Role
You’ll be creating and updating web applications and platforms to better deal with continued growth. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of our clients codebase, including:

* Building scalable and robust web applications and messaging systems
* Creating reliable services and APIs
* Working with SMS, Voice and other messaging technologies
* Within a collaborative and continuously improving team you’ll be creating software that you and your team can be proud of

Passionate about Agile, they’re continually improving Agile practices in their Derby office. You’ll be working in short iterations, having regular Retros and using XP practices such as TDD and refactoring. With their mandate of continuous improvement their developers typically:

* Each attend at least one developer conference a year
* Run regular coding dojos, technical presentations and guided learning sessions
* Dedicate time for research, innovation and learning
* Regularly focus on improvement in team retrospectives

Experience
The Company’s systems are primarily C#/.Net but are using and evaluating numerous other technologies too. They’re interested in hearing from software developers with strong web skills and good experience of:

.Net, C#
ASP.Net MVC, Webforms, Web API
HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
MS SQL Server
Automated testing, TDD and Continuous Integration
Software design patterns
Working with legacy codebases
Agile methodologies

Additionally, experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
