Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client, a Darlington and Leeds based website and mobile app development company, is looking for a dedicated Developer (Mobile App Developer, IOS and Android) to join the team to help develop and maintain high quality mobile applications. Responsibilities of a Developer (Mobile App Developer, IOS and Android):
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Understand clients’ application requirements
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Troubleshoot, find bugs and offer appropriate solutions
• Stay up to date with the latest technology trends Requirements of a Developer (Mobile App Developer, IOS or Android):
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or relevant field; Masters will be appreciated
• An in-depth knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Python or Kotlin
• 12 months+ in a professional office setting
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• An understanding of programming principles
• Ability to perform in a team environment
• Experience of working in an Agile environment is desired
