Warehouse Supervisor -2 Vacancies – working Days or Nights 

Up to £36,000 pa + Benefits 

The Company: 

Operating within the Foodservice and Catering sector, this company offer an impressive portfolio of products to a multitude of customers across the UK. Following continued investment and recent winning of additional business, the company are now seeking to appoint 2 x Warehouse Supervisors to join them working either permanent days or permanent nights. 

The Role: 

Working in tandem with the Warehouse Manager, the appointed Warehouse Supervisors will support the daily inbound / outbound workloads and ensure these are carried out accurately, effectively, efficiently and safely, meeting customer requirements. Responsibilities will include managing all goods in / out suppliers, product deliveries, damages / loss in the warehouse, cycle counting / rechecks, hygiene in the warehouse, calibration of all probes, inductions, cleaning schedules, replenishments & day to day running of the warehouse operation.

A key focus of this role will be the development and improvement of supply chain activities and performance will be measured on key performance indicators (KPI`s) such as; customer pick rates, accuracy against orders and vehicle load tonnages to ensure maximum delivery output is reached to the specific route plan.

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of 10 people, allocating work accordingly and providing clear instructions on customer orders, whilst ensuring any potential order/delivery issues are rectified promptly and communicating any unresolved problems to the Warehouse Manager. 

The Person: 

Applicants must have experience leading teams within a Food Distribution, Food Warehouse or Food Storage environment, although we will consider other FMCG sectors. You must also possess excellent communication, organisation and team motivation skills, and should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of food safety and Food Hygiene.
