Salary: £26,000 – £28,158 per year
Our client is a UK leading Delivery and Collection Company that is expanding. We are looking for enthusiastic warehouse sortation staff to join our busy client. We can offer £26,000 – £28,158 per year after 12 weeks work with us.
Key Duties
As a sorter you’ll be based in one of the parcel depots, sorting and preparing parcels for delivery by our delivery drivers. This role is a vital part in the chain to ensure all our customers get their parcels on time. Your responsibilities will include:
Loading and unloading trailers
Moving van and vehicles
Sorting parcels from conveyor belts into cages
Moving cages
Scanning parcel barcodes
Working a part of the wider depot team to improve customer service
Maintain safe lifting and handling of heavy parcels even during busy periodsSkills Required:
Works accurately using post codes to sort parcels into cages
Is a team player, willing and flexible enough to help colleagues to ensure that all our customers get their parcels on time
Is able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
