Warehouse Stores Supervisor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Stores Supervisor to join one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of upholstered furniture. This is a truly exciting time to join the organisation at their Lincolnshire site as they continue to develop to grow, something that is expected to continue well into the future.

Whilst reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of an efficient and effective General Stores department in the management and storage of materials required to meet daily Production requirements.

As a candidate you will be required to have a proven track record working in a warehouse environment and experience within a manufacturing environment is essential. You will need to have a good working knowledge of integrated ERP computer system along with excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications. You will be required to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to plan and prioritise workload. Your background must include stock management and housekeeping experience. The successful will be someone who leads by example, monitoring progress and generating ideas to motivate staff and secure positive results. Is it essential you have an eye for detail with a strong work ethos and has the ability to multi-task.

Knowledge of managing an effective stores and department function to a cut and sew supply chain is desirable.

Flexibility is a very important aspect to the role. The working hours could range from 6am-10pm. 40 hours per week.

Salary for this position is £26,000, during the six month probation period rising to £23,180 with a final increment available of £24,725.
