Warehouse Manager

Salary: £33,600 per year

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager who will take on responsibility for the day to day running of a busy warehouse located in Tanworth in Arden.

As the Warehouse Manager for this installation company, you will be:

• Loading and off-loading vans.
• Responsible for the storing of a variety of stock items and tools within the warehouse.
• Cleaning, running, and checking the working order of mixers.
• Completing daily stock checks, monthly stock counts and recording daily stock returns.
• Delivering and collecting stock as required.
• Preparing and maintaining sample stock.
• Advising Admin Team when stock levels are low.
• Logging tools out and then back in when returned.
• Work with the installation teams to ensure they have all they need loaded efficiently for their installation projects and managing the schedule for these to ensure accuracy of loadings.
• Off-loading containers efficiently and within set time frames to avoid any demurrage charges.
• Check wear and tear on company vans reporting any issues to the admin team.

To be considered as the Warehouse Manager you will need.

• Experience of working within a warehouse.
• Driving Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Experience of loading, unloading and correctly recording, allocating bays and putting away all deliveries.
• Good admin skills to be able to accurately record incoming and outgoing stock to ensure correct stock levels and advise on any low stock numbers.
• To be a team player, someone who will suggest ways of improving the warehouse performance and function.
• To attend and engage within management meetings.

On offer is a salary of up to £33,600 per year, four weeks holiday plus all bank holidays, pension scheme.

Working hours are 9am to 5pm but some flexibility will be required around this due to nature of their business and to ensure deliveries can be efficiently unloaded.
