Warehouse Operator (Weekends)

To operate Forklift Truck (Reach and/or Counterbalance) and Powered Pallet Truck • To ensure that GMP, Quality, Health & Safety are considered in all aspects of role • Responsible for data integrity around all Warehouse Pallet movement • Continuously seek improved ways of working • Use of Warehouse management systems • Measure & monitor supplier and despatch performance, periodically reporting details to interested parties • Raise QIR’s as appropriate (e.g. for supplier issues, despatch issues) • Arrange supplier returns and update system accordingly • Arrange depot returns on behalf of business centres • Adhering to First in first out ( FIFO ) wherever possible • Responsible for Warehouse stock accuracy whilst on shift • Accountable for all damages caused whilst on shift • Investigate and root cause all issues to successful conclusion (liaising with QA as appropriate) • Understanding and operation of BPCS & or Bella CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS: • Fork lift truck Counterbalance or Reach truck licence • Powered pallet truck licence • Computer literate (word, excel, powerpoint, email, fax) • Flexibility and willingness to accept change • Fosters enthusiasm and teamwork • Can Do Attitude • Attention to detail • Methodical & well organised • Warehouse management system knowledge • GMP Awareness • Ability to prioritise
