Warehouse Operator

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our prestigious client based at Markham Vale, Derbyshire (postcodes S44 & S43). Due to the companies growth and expansion, the client now requires Warehouse Operatives for both their sites near chesterfield.

A variety of roles are available to candidates who have had previous experience in warehousing. We need candidates with Handball, PPT, Scanning, and loading experience to enhance the great team we already have on site. The client will also upskill candidates via in-house training on VNA/PPT/LLOP etc. This is a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with previous in-house skills who wants to further enhance their skills whilst training with a large progressive company or someone who is keen to learn and grow in the warehouse environment.

Salary: s & Shifts:

£9.25 (Training) – £10.00 (upskilled) Days 06:00-18:00 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

£10.25 (Training) – £11.00 (upskilled) Nights 18:00-06:00 4 on 4 off shift pattern

Key Requirements and Duties for this role include:

. Willingness to train on all M.H.E including VNA, Reach, PPT.

· Able to work 4 x 12 hour shifts including weekends

· Candidates will be unloading/loading trailers via handball and using PPT trucks as well as other M.H.E

· Scanning items onto pallets and into pick locations within the warehouse

· Performing other warehouse duties including Picking, Packing, wrapping pallets

· Be a team player! Work together in a team to achieve daily production targets

Experience & Qualities required:

· Reliability, Honesty and Excellent Timekeeping is essential for this role

· Confident and Motivated individuals with a can-do attitude and a willingness to Learn new skills. 

There may be opportunities for some individuals to further develop themselves and progress up to a team leader / supervisor role.
