Warehouse Operator

Salary: £30,000 per year

Our client is a leading, privately owned, highly successful and vastly profitable national, specialist food related manufacturer with several sites in the UK and Europe who have been operating for many years.

The company employs a dedicated and loyal workforce who take pride in what they achieve.

The Norfolk based site in the Fakenham area requires a further Warehouse Operator to join the team.

Key tasks and skills required in this role are:-

1. FLT operations to move stock between production and warehouse, and loading of vehicles.
2. Picking of stock to orders for dispatch.
3. Use of site stock control label and scanning PDA system.
4. Completion of records, reporting maintenance and safety issues.
5. Hygiene duties, aiding production departments as required.
6. Driving of tractor unit to transfer malt stock between warehouses.

The ideal candidate will be able to work equally effectively in a team environment and on their own, will have good communication skills, be capable of taking responsibility for their work area and production requirements, good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to ensure process timings and quality requirements are met. Experience of a warehouse/picking and dispatch role would be desirable. Hold a valid FLT certificate. Applicants must be physically fit due to the level of manual operations required in this role.

Monday to Friday – rotating shifts – 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 0700-1600

Signing on bonus £1000

Salary circa £30,000 ‘000, up to 10% bonus, contributory pension, 33 days holiday.
