Warehouse Operatives – Day Shifts

Our Client is a Global leader in Parcel Distribution and they are now looking to recruit 100 Warehouse Operatives for their Coventry Hub Operation with opportunities well into 2015.

Day Shifts – 6am start with flexibility till 4pm – Monday – Friday.

The role:

Ideally you will have experience of working in a similar role or environment which is fast moving and requires complete flexibility in finishing times whilst maintaining a calm and professional approach under pressure. You will be reliable, hard working with a positive “CAN DO ATTITUDE”. Candidates will have to provide reference details, and be able to complete our numeracy and literacy assessments.

Your key responsibilities:

•Loading and unloading vehicles
•Scanning parcels
•Labelling parcels
•Sorting parcels
•Ad hoc duties

You will be required to:

Lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms.
Work on your own initiative for long periods.
Be a team player who is willing and flexible enough to help colleagues ensure that all of our Clients customers get their parcels on time all of the time.

Please note you will be expected to be flexible on these times to meet operational requirements as and when needed.

Due to the nature of the role and environment, part of the interview process will include security checks and referencing.
