MOBILE PHONE TECHNICIAN (DATA REMOVAL & PROCESSING)

Excellent temp/perm opportunity at a leading technology recycling company in Macclesfield. Our ideal candidate will have experience of removing data from mobile phones as the primary duties will include testing and grading mobile phones in a target driven environment.

WORKING HOURS

of work: Monday to Friday – 7.30am – 3.30pm

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Efficiently process handsets by testing and fully removing data on receipt

* Ensure the correct procedure is followed to ensure all handsets are fully data cleared

* Grade handsets accurately

* Accurately maintain any relevant paperwork and systems on a daily basis

* Pack completed handsets with relevant paperwork

* Day to day housekeeping of the department and work areas

* Achieve agreed KPI’s and targets in accordance with the business objectives

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

* Experience of removing data from mobile phone handsets or other technology based equipment in a work environment would be an advantage but is not essential

* Must have high standards of numeracy and literacy (ideally Grade C or above in GCSE Mathematics and English Language or equivalent)

* Must be able to successfully work in an environment that includes standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks with small components

* Experienced and confident in using Microsoft application and have good general IT skills

* Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

* Be hard working and enjoy working in a target driven environment

* Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude
