Warehouse Operative

DX provides proven next day delivery services for mail, parcels and 2-Man deliveries to business and residential addresses nationwide, for both public and private sector companies. In particular, DX specialises in next day or scheduled delivery of freight for B2B and B2C customers

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to work in our fast-paced warehouse handling heavy freight.

* To hand-ball freight from trailers within set timescale.
* To split and sort freight to correct bay as per postcode.
* To ensure all freight has been scanned.
* To help drivers load out to help achieve timed deliveries.
* Follow the sites House Keeping Policy.
* Follow Company’s Health and Safety Policy.

* An ability to work at a consistently high level of accuracy with accurate attention to detail.
* Must be willing to be flexible in undertaking new or different tasks.
* Must be reliable and conscientious.

THIS POSITION INVOLVES HEAVY MANUAL LABOUR IN A FAST-PACED WAREHOUSE WHERE TRAILERS NEED TO BE TIPPED / FREIGHT SORTED WITHIN A TIGHT SCHEDULE.

Due to location and early AM start applicants with their own transport preferred.

Additional training will be given if you are required to complete the following tasks –
Fork lift Driver
First Aider
