Warehouse Operative

Axiom Personnel are urgently recruiting Production Warehouse/Operatives for our client based in Dagenham, Essex.

Duties will be the sub – assembly of parts, picking of relevant parts, some production line work, general warehouse duties & operation of tow motor trucks (training will be provided).

Candidates will ideally have experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing or warehousing environment, have a good eye for detail, be reliable, able to work shifts.

Experience of stock control, goods in/out, use of PDA;s (desirable) and good experience of high volume pick rates gained within a distribution centre will be favourably considered.

Hours – shift work, 3 shifts on a rotating basis – early, late & nights over a 5 day week – the shift times are 6.30am to 2.30pm, 2.30pm to 10.30pm & 10.30pm to 6.30am. This is non-negotiable and candidates must be able to work ALL 3 shifts.

A high level of numeracy and literacy is essential as is a full UK driving licence.

Candidates must be able to provide references and be available to start work immediately.

Position will be made permanent for the right candidates.
