Our client is looking for a candidate to take ownership of the warehouse operations and to develop and improve current warehouse processes and procedures.

The general purpose of the role is to manage inventory and deliveries of stock to third parties, coordinate / manage stock and lead the warehouse team. This is a working Warehouse Manager role requiring the job holder to be hands on and involved on a day to day basis.

The Warehouse Manager will have previous experience working in a fast pace environment with a sound knowledge of health and safety. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have previous experience and a proven track record of employment as a Warehouse Manager.

Duties and responsibilities
? Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures.
? Develop and improve current warehouse processes, procedures and documentation.
? Controlling and reconciling inventory levels by conducting and recording physical counts.
? Maintaining physical condition of warehouse including planning and implementing new design layouts.
? Management of warehouse staff including selection, recruitment development and training.
? Overseeing the receipt and storage of incoming items.
? Processing orders and planning the despatch of products.
? Liaising with suppliers and third party supply chain to coordinate deliveries / receipts.
? Responsibility for Health & Safety in the Warehouse.
? Liaising closely with the sales department to fulfil customer requirements.

? Current FLT Licence.

? Able to work well under pressure.
? Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
? Able to supervise, motivate and organise current team to ensure targets are met.
