Our client is recognised as the leading supplier of innovative food packaging solutions to airlines, airline caterers and the catering and restaurant sectors in the UK.

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join them on a permanent, full time basis.

As Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for unloading and loading Lorries and containers, picking mixed orders, preparing pallets for despatch, checking off drivers delivery notes and putting stock away in bin locations.

With a Counterbalance and Reach Truck licence, the successful Warehouse Operative must be willing to work as a member of a multitasking team, be physically fit and able to cope with the daily rigours of a busy warehouse environment.

With a strong work ethic, you will have the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others and understand the importance of complying with Health & Safety procedures and reporting risks. A good standard of numeracy and literacy is essential, basic IT skills would be advantageous.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00. They do ask that the successful candidate is flexible and willing to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of the role as and when required.
