Our client based in Bournemouth are looking for a warehouse assistant on a temporary basis for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £26,000per year
Contract: Temporary
Duration: Minimum 4 weeks
Hours: Monday – Friday. 9.00-5.30pm

Role Purpose:

To assist with incoming deliveries of stock as well as outgoing Customer orders, also to take responsibility for making sure the Warehouse is clean, tidy and free from hazards. Contributing to providing the best possible customer experience.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* To promote and sustain the highest levels of service by putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.
* Assisting in promotions and store merchandising to create and help maintain an environment in store where all customers feel welcome and comfortable.
* To receive, receipt and inspect incoming goods ensuring in perfect condition and stored or presented accordingly.
* Prepare outgoing orders necessary for Fitters to complete their daily calls.
* Assisting Customers with handling of goods as well as measuring and cutting floor coverings where necessary.
* Create an environment which is not only a great place to shop but also to work for you and your colleagues.
* Strive for continuous personal development.
* Understanding and adhering to the clients codes of conduct / policies and procedures at all times.

Knowledge & Experience:

* Exposure to a Warehouse or Stockroom environment.
* Ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service.
* Self-motivated and able to act on own initiative.
* Clear and confident communicator.
