Vp, Energy Project Finance

Salary: £144,000 – £156,000 per year

Our client, a Tier 1 Project Finance bank, is recruiting an experienced VP in its Origination and Execution team here in London.

Responsibilities
• Originate Project Finance lending and advisory mandates across Renewable and Conventional Energy sub sectors
• Manage deal negotiations
• Assist with the preparation of Information Memorandums and generally support the execution of advisory mandates under the supervision of Senior team members.
• Manage the credit application process and present credit cases
• Review documentation and carry accountability for the appropriate level of sign off
• Collaborate with other product areas to promote and produce cross-sell opportunities
• Act as the first point of contact for technical and client related issues, liaising with other stakeholders to seek resolution and escalating as required.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues

Skills and knowledge:
• Solid origination, execution experience within a Project Finance or Infrastructure Debt team
• Strong knowledge of Renewable Energy sectors and markets
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• The ability and willingness to be a strong team player
• The ability to show flexibility around tasks
• Strong relationship building skills both with internal and external clients
• Degree qualified
