Salary: £26,000 per year

The aim of this mental health charity is to promote good mental health through the provision of high quality services and campaigning for positive change. They’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support.

Volunteer & Peer Support Worker
Hours: 20 hours per week (part time)
Salary: £26,000per year(SCP 21-25) pro rata
Contract: Fixed-term for 6 months
Holidays: 28 days plus bank holidays (pro rata)
Accountable to: Volunteer & Peer Support Worker
Place of work: Osney Mead and across Oxfordshire localities

• Wellbeing Service
• Supported to Independent Living Housing Projects
• Step 2 service (Improving access to Psychological Therapies service)
• Benefits for a welfare benefits advice service
• Volunteers and Peer Mentor Support

Purpose of the job

• Support the targeted recruitment, training and deployment (placement) of Volunteers and Peer Supporters
• Work with Volunteer and Peer Supporters to identify their personal development goals, signposting them where appropriate to other services such as employment and training support.
• Support the Volunteers and Peer Support Coordinator in collecting monitoring information about the impact of Volunteers and Peer Supporters within their Oxfordshire services.
• Maintain an up to date Volunteers and Peer Supporter database
