Salary: Competitive plus an annual performance bonus and pension
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

What you’ll be doing as the Operations Supervisor;
Report directly to the Business Manager and be responsible for managing the day to day health and safety compliance and standards, working closely with the risk and assurance and operational teams.
This role will be pivotal in improving our overall compliance whilst giving support to the operational team in managing the day to day function, with optimum service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Support engagement amongst the regional workforce
Provide support for development projects
Contribute to achieving the targeted level of operational profitability whilst delivering exceptional customer service through driving our health and safety culture.
Conduct risk assessments across all operational functions at the depot.
Deliver induction training for new starters with a specific focus on drivers to enhance the onboarding process.
Monitor and review any accident / incident investigations working collaboratively with Risk & Assurance.
Attend H&S meetings reporting on current activity and making suggestions for improvement.
Conduct monthly management site checks.
