A major North West sporting venue is actively seeking a Venue Operations Manager. Responsible for all operational aspects of the venue, you’ll be an experienced Operations / Facilities Manager with proven experience working in a large venue.

Used to operating at a strategic management level, you’ll be used to leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, have ownership of budgets and oversee project and event management. Also crucial to the role is experience running a venue / facility whilst major construction work is ongoing.

Ensuring the safe and cost effective operation of the venue, you’ll have full responsibility for Operations, Facilities, Maintenance, Stewarding, Security and Event Management.

What you’ll be doing!

Taking total control of venue operations
Manage the Security and Maintenance teams
Oversee all planned preventative maintenance in conjunction with the Maintenance team
Manage key contracts: Cleaning, M/E, Security, Car Parks, Safety
Client liaison for major construction works
Represent the venue working with building control, licensing, planning, fire, H&S
Inspect all works carried out by contractors for compliance, quality and completion
Manage energy reduction and waste management schemesYou’ll be a proven leader, able to lead others and set the strategic operational plan for the venue. Qualifications in Spectator Safety Management would be helpful, as would NEBOSH / H&S qualifications.

The role is based in the North West, with a salary range of £66,000 – £78,000+ benefits. Please send your CV
