Van Drivers

My national client are looking for 1000 van drivers across the UK for their fast approaching peak period. My client is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company that is the largest internet retailer in the world.

The role is the delivery of online goods to customers.

Each driver will be paid – £120 per day for a 10 hour shift. (apart from Bow and Hayes are paid £110 per day)

Each driver will be allocated a 6 day working week.

Each driver will be paid through an umbrella scheme called Key Driver

Each driver will have a deduction of £120 a week taken out of their wages for the cost of the van.

Each driver will initially be put on their company insurance scheme which will cos them a further £80 a week.

The drivers will also have the ability to deliver additional parcels if they deliver their load early if they choose at the price of £1 per parcel.

There is also a team bonus in place of an additional £20 per day, per driver if site team hit their targets.

After the first month, if you are enjoying the job and can see a future in the business, they have the ability to set up their own insurance policy which will be a lot cheaper than the £80 per week contribution made to the company policy. Prospect commercials will assist the driver in setting up their own insurance and even pay for it for them and deduct the premium for this out of their wages each week.

The Key Driver payment scheme will write off the cost of the van and insurance against tax to ensure that each driver will always take home a minimum of £400-£500per week after tax.

You will be allowed to take the vehicles home at the end of each working day, however you must not use them for personal use. They must only be used to and from work and for work purposes.

First day inductions will be held in different areas on different days as stated below:

Monday – Leicester & Basildon

Tuesday – Bristol and Bow.

Wednesday – Hayes and Maidstone.

Thursday – Croydon and Maidstone.

Friday – Weybridge and Brighton.
