Delivery Driver

The role of Driver for this business is extremely rewarding and enjoyable role. The position is working for a local business which is working with the vulnerable and elderly.

Responsibilities

• Check location of delivery for that day, load customer orders into the van and check that all paperwork is correct
• Deliver customer orders in a timely manner and offer to put meals into the customers freezers if required (PPE provided)
• Collect cash and cheques from customers and store them safely
• Cash up your round at the end of the day and handover to the manager
• Check van daily and report any damage or issues. Ensure the van is always in a clean and presentable condition
• Accurately record the load space temperature in the freezer vans, twice daily

Skills

• Full clean UK driving licence
• DBS check required
• Friendly, customer service focused manner
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and help around the warehouse when needed
