Salary: £13.8 per hour
We are delighted to be working with a long and ongoing customer who works within the food industry. We are looking to recruit a van driver on a full-time basis to join our clients team.
You will be responsible for:
Checking vehicle over for any wear and tear
Loading and unloading of the vehicle, making sure it is safe and secure
Delivering goods to customers in a safe and timely manner
Be familiar with London and surrounding areas
Be willing to work long days
Customer-friendly
Smartly presented
Have good levels of written and verbal communication
This position will be a temp to perm position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience doing commercial deliveries in and around the country, VERY good knowledge of London, the UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor motoring offences. We cannot accept anyone who has had a DR or IN disqualification due to insurance purposes. Candidates must also be over the age of 25 because of customers’ insurance.
Hours of work are:
Tuesday to Saturday – 04:00 start time with a guarantee 50 hours per week. Overtime at time and a half after 50 hours at £13.8 per hour
