Location: Poole (BH17)

Pay: From £26,000 per year for standard hours (higher rate for overtime. Rate increases with service to over £26,000 per year)

Please note; You will be required to make a one time trip to Southampton to register and complete essential paperwork

3.5 Tonne Multi Drop Van Driver required for an on going contract for a Parcel Delivery company near Poole, Dorset.

This position is expected to start in approximately one months time and in the future could lead to more solid work, potentially even a permanent job. We are looking for people who are available on going until at least the end of December 2015

Typical hours could fall between 7am-7pm Monday- Friday with overtime payable after 8 hours each day. Possible overtime on weekends also

The role is to collect and deliver parcels to residential homes and businesses across the South Coast (in a LWB Sprinter type van), while proving tracking information. This is fast paced work and requires route planning so good knowledge of the local area is essential

Applicants must be able to safely lift parcels up to 30kg, and be able to deliver a minimum of 50 drops per day within their defined postcode area

Anyone applying should have previously worked as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver (ideally parcel delivery), be well presented, and have a personable nature. Due to elements of customer service and completion of vital paperwork, candidates are required to have a good grasp of the English language both written and spoken.

For insurance purposes, applicants must be over 25 and not have lost their license for dangerous or reckless driving
