UK Sales Director

A leading player in the supply of vacant property and security services is seeking a Sales Director due to growth and internal change. The successful candidate will manage, motivate and inspire a 24 strong and growing them of Business Developers, Account Managers + Specialists Sector Managers. You will drive all commercial activity and help manage big ticket opportunities.

Due to substantial growth, they are now looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and creative head of sales/sales director to grow the sales team and ensure they continue their success story. This is a senior position in the organisation and provides an incredible opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Board and the COO to devise and implement the company’s strategy
You will be a hands on manager/director who is prepared to lead from the front and ensure your team follow
You will have full responsibility for the sales team and will be expected to implement action plans to help penetrate new markets
You will work closely with the marketing team to help devise and implement the marketing plans to help support the efforts of the sales team
You will be expected to grow the existing team, implement sales/performance measures and processes.
You will provide strong leadership, support and development and ensure that the team are able to maximise all opportunities and provide accurate forecasts of potential business
Managing big ticket tender opportunities
Applying strong work ethic throughout the company
Driving forward the business development function through securing new business
