UI Developer

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

UI Developer, £25k to £35k, Remote (Birmingham)

Avanti Recruitment is working exclusively with a very successful and long-standing commercial insurance software provider, to hire a UI Developer to work on their platform. The software runs on microservices API based scalable architecture, running in Kubernetes. The platform is engineered using C# and.NETCORE framework.

You will join an established team of experienced developers (team of 18 devs), who are using C# on the backend for complex transactions and JavaScript technologies on the front end. This role will focus more on UI Design and Front-End Development.

The team are working remotely at the moment and will continue to do so, with a meeting once a month in the Birmingham area if possible.

The work is varied and interesting and there are lots of experienced Software Developers in the team that can mentor you, making it a great environment for a more junior developer to learn in.

The successful candidate will ideally have areas of knowledge in the below technologies, but this role may also suit a keen Graduate.

Ideally you will have knowledge of:

* HTML5

* CSS3

* SASS

* JS

* JQuery

* Bootstrap 4.6

* UI Design / Photoshop

Some basic knowledge of:

* Basic usage of NPM

* Basic usage of Git

* Knockout

* HTML Forms

Extras, nice to have:

* Typescript

* Vue 3

* ES6

* Webpack

* C#

* UX experience

The current R&D plan / digital roadmap contains vue.js for a front-end technology of choice. The company get their business from word of mouth and reputation as they have been running successfully for 25 years.
