The Role

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for Project Engineers to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on the Wessex Water Framework, based around the Dorset and Wiltshire areas. You will be reporting to a Project Manager and will be responsible for supporting all technical and commercial aspects of Electrical, Mechanical and Civil installations on site. Candidates ideally will be qualified in either Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Civil Engineering but should have a good appreciation of all professions.

Role & Responsibilities

ยทAttend internal and external design review and progress meetings.

ยทProduce and review electrical & mechanical design documentation.

ยทProduce specifications and outline designs.

ยทProcurement of Electrical & Mechanical Equipment and support for subcontract procurement.

ยทEnsure that site installation works and quality match both design and appropriate industry standards.

ยทRecord and Review as-built information.

ยทProduction of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

ยทProgramme Updates.

ยทProcurement schedules.

Qualification/Competency

ยทDegree or HND/HNC in either Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Chemical/Process Engineering.

ยทWater Engineering background preferred but not essential.

ยทGood working Knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality Procedures.

ยทMicrosoft Office and CAD packages.

ยทGood appreciation of Excel to a โ€˜Higherโ€™ level.
