MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR – DEVON & CORNWALL

We are currently seeking to recruit a Lead/Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function of a circa £25m water project. Works comprise of the installation of an intake desalination process plant and modifications to the existing network.

The Managing QS is likely to be based between both the project office in Exeter and on site in the Isles of Scilly. Experience of NEC Options C a& E is required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Overseeing at least one other QS
Valuations
Change Control
Subcontractor Procurement
Subcontractor Payments
Attend client meetings are required
Work closely with the Project Manager
Monthly Commercial Reporting
CVR’s
Cash Flow Forecasts
Updating Risk Register
Final accounts and audits
Desired Skills / Background:

HNC/HND/BSc in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or by experience
Working knowledge of NEC Options C&E
