Warehouse & Transport Controller

* £29,520 per annum + 33 days holiday, bonus scheme, health cover and training

Our Client is searching for an experienced Transport & Warehouse Controller to help support the Transport and Warehouse Manager. You will provide a dedicated and professional service to customers and clients. Leading a team of warehouse operatives, FLT and LGV drivers you will manage the FLT and LGV fleet; work with your team ensuring strict deadlines are met and company standards maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the health and safety of your team
* Training and development of the team
* Responsible for stock integrity
* Monitoring and improving stock accuracy
* Develop working practices to increase levels of productivity and service quality making sure all customers requirements are met
* Working closely with the Warehouse & Transport Manager
* Enforcing on-site H&S requirements and Company Policies

The successful candidate will need to have:
* An ambitious and driven attitude
* Clear and positive communication skills
* Experience in logistical planning and stock control
* A hands on approach
* A flexible and forward thinking style, with the ability to implement your own ideas that will improve the performance across the site

Standard working hours are, 40 hours Monday to Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
