Do you have previous Transport Planning experience? Do you want to work in an autonomous role with a strong team of great drivers?
Due to significant investment and subsequent growth, my client is currently looking to add a Transport Planner to their established team in the Cookstown office.
Working alongside a team of experienced drivers, you will be planning collections and deliveries across Ireland for one of the countrys top Hire firms. Liaising with Fleet maintenance and compliance team to ensure vehicles & trailers are adhering to maintenance schedules, whilst also keeping track of Drivers hours.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in Transport Planning and possess great organisational skill. Knowledge of Eu tachograph regulations and a good geographical knowledge of Ireland would be beneficial.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to take control and make the role their own, whilst also benefitting from no weekend work!
The Role:
- Tracking and Planning of Drivers across Ireland
- Monitoring EU tachograph regulations
- Liaising with Sales & Operations teams
- Organising vehicles to meet maintenance schedules
- Monday to Friday, NO WEEKENDS!
- 7.30am – 5pm
You will need:
- Transport Planning Experience
- An understanding of EU Tachograph laws & WTD
- Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance schedules
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience with Webfleet or a TMS would be advantageous
