Full time 8:00am – 17:00pm Monday-Friday

Salary £22,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience)

It’s this approach that’s seen us grow so rapidly that we now require a Trainee Technical Services Administrator.

 

The role

Due to our continuous success, we require a Trainee Technical Services Administrator to support our water treatment and maintenance divisions reporting to Senior Ashford Management and the FM Operations Team. Training will be provided.

Duties will include, but not be limited to.

  • Managing incoming sample results
  • Entering results into sample registers
  • Interpreting chemical and microbiological results to create water analysis reports to be sent out to clients. Ensuring the precision and consistency of data presented in all reports.
  • Producing quotations.
  • Completion and filing of all documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Liaising with the Ashford management team, onsite contract managers, laboratories & clients on a daily basis via email & telephone calls.
  • Acquiring effluent permits from various water authorities
  • Liaising with onsite contracts managers for site-specific details
  • Attending internal & external meetings
  • Becoming technically aware of microbiological and chemistry guidelines for closed, potable and cooling water. by attending company training/meetings, listening to, and reading any product information supplied or communicated by the company’s Management Team.

 

Essential skills

The right person will have:

  • Good written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Good Microsoft skills including Excel and Word
  • Scientific knowledge is desirable.
  • GCSE levels in English, Maths, and a Science A-C grade or equivalent essential

The ideal candidate should also have a strong attention to detail, be organised, and be able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

 

Notes: salary £22,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience)
