Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 plus commission

About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven and personable individual to join our team as a Recruitment Consultant. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be joining a fun, fast-paced working environment where you will be surrounded by like-minded people who are success and goal-orientated have a genuine ambition to enhance their recruitment career. Under the direction of the Business Manager, you will take a hands-on sales approach to build long-term relationships with new and existing clients and will match high-calibre candidates to available nursing shifts within the NHS, as well as generating new opportunities and revenue via sales.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for;

Building and maintaining client relationships with the aim of growing gross margin
Managing existing clients and sourcing new ones
Proactively filling qualified nursing shifts within your geographical area
Canvassing for new clients and bookings
Sourcing candidates through a variety of methods including; headhunting, utilising the internal database, advertisements, job boards, referrals and social media
Proactively engaging with healthcare professionals to ensure they are supported throughout the recruitment process and their requirements are being met
Working towards sales targets and meeting weekly and monthly KPI’s
Building and maintaining the candidate and client database
Ensuring compliance and quality control documentation (e.g. DBS checks) have been completed
Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates in-line with your client’s requirements
Creating, maintaining and developing a network of candidates within our niche area
Appropriately matching clients and candidates by identifying the needs of both
Negotiating, persuading and influencing in order to achieve the best outcome

Skill set and experience required:

Volume recruitment experience would be desirable, but not essential
Experience is a fast-paced sales environment
Excellent levels of customer service
A high attention to detail
Self-motivated and target driven
and hardworking
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Interpersonal, with the ability to show understanding, empathy and rapport building skills
The ability to adapt to a fast-paced sales environment
