WhiteCrow Research

Salary: £26,000 per year

Trainee Recruiter
WhiteCrow is a global Research, Intelligence and Sourcing solutions company that actively supports Internal Talent Acquisition teams. We serve a wide variety of companies, from some of the world’s fastest growing start-ups to over 70 of the Fortune 500, empowering them to identify and attract the best people.
As a result of a major new business win within our Financial Services practice we are looking to train a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our talent sourcing and candidate development team.
Unlike a recruitment consultant role, there is no sales element to this position. You’ll be working in close collaboration with client hiring managers, working on fulfilling management, functional and leadership roles across the UK and Europe.
Recruiter Key Responsibilities
* Take in-depth job briefings and develop tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals.
* Undertake direct sourcing activities through the use of Boolean searches, professional and social media, candidate referrals and networking.
* Proactively pitch employer value proposition and specific opportunities to passive talent.
* Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the employer and their business strategy, career pathways, job descriptions, and expectation setting.
* Obtain up-to-date CV’s from candidates where mutual interest remains following exploratory discussions, enter all data onto the talent portal and then submit to the Hiring Manager along with detailed notes.
* Make all logistical arrangements for interviews.
* Ahead of interviews, ensure each candidate is briefed and fully understand the requirements of the requisition.
* Give input into the package offered to selected candidates.
* Assist in smoothly disengaging successful candidates from their current employer.
* Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, ensuring a positive Hiring Manager and candidate experience.
* Maintain accurate and well-ordered online documentation of all interactions and recruiting activities.
* Provide regular data and analysis on progress throughout the identification and hiring process. This should include commentary on any anomalies, obstacles and on-going review of sourcing effectiveness and engagement activities.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join an international business, working with some of the largest and most prestigious companies in the world. You’ll acquire a skillset that will open future career opportunities in Headhunting and Human Resources, and learn from a close knit, friendly team in the UK as well as colleagues spread across the world.
