Trainee Project Manager

Salary: £57,600 – £60,000 per year

We are seeking to recruit a Trainee / Junior Project Manager in the from of a Project Liaison Officer on a permanent, full time basis in Swindon.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, this role will support the project management team in delivering projects on-site. Taking responsibility for the induction of Contractors the role will also be responsible for the planning of works and facilitating access and closure for these works.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Project team on site; chairing pre-start meetings, liaising with Principle Designers on Health & Safety issues, co-ordinating services as well as utilising the appropriate “Permit to Work” for contractors. On completion of works, this role will be responsible for witnessing testing and obtaining proof of completion from the team involved.
About You
will be able to demonstrate previous experience in managing projects, contractors and clients. With a good understanding of facilities management, you will be qualified in a Building Services discipline (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical or Building Fabric) and ideally have experience of FM in a hospital or healthcare environment.
